Greyson's growing up....

Well we took the kids to Chuck E Cheese last night with out next door neighbors. They of course had a blast, but Greyson surprised the heck outta me! He figured out how to sip from a straw! I couldn't beleive it! I usually let him bite on my straw but last night I was holding onto him and looked down and there he was sipping my pink lemonade, everytime it came up he would gulp and then laugh. It was so cute! So he figured it out all on his own, what a big boy! and while all this was happening, Job and Ayla were running around like 2 little kids doing every toy available! It was so cute. I know Ayla had a blast!! We need to go there more often, I always forget about it. So we had a great day and Greyson learned a new skill!

So far so good here! Today has been a relaxed sorta day...

Ayla just got up from nap and Greyson just went down, it always seems to work that way! It has started turning cooler here, I noticed a few of the trees around the house have thier leaves changing already! As the weather lady said the other day "it may be awhile before we see the 80's again" ahhhh!!!

I can't beleive how big the kids are getting, Greyson is going to be 9 months old this sunday! I just called to make him his 9 month check up and it totally hit how old he's getting. While Ayla was sleeping him and I were playing on the floor... He's not my little baby anymore, He listens when i tell him something, like come here or no... He drinks from his sippy cup like a pro, he is even done with the baby food! He's eating everything we eat now, he does so good at that! I just can't beleive how much he is doing on his own anymore. He cracks me up! He has been standing all by himself for a good 10 or more sec. He's also talking up a storm in his own baby talk... he likes to tell you all about it~

Ayla is doing great as well! Her new saying is " I Love it" which sounds like "I Bove it" hahaha if you put on a movie for her or give her something to eat that she likes she always bust out with "Thank you mommy, I Bove it!! hahaha Can't help but smile when I hear it. We took the the bed rails off her big girl bed the other night, she is doing awesome! Only fell out once I think but she was back in bed by herself when we went to check so I we aren't positive if she actually fell out or not... She loves watching her disney movies now, she could watch them 10 times in a row if i let her but mommy can't handle that so she gets to pick one movie a day...

Tomorrow is soccer practice she is doing so good at it. i think she really likes it! I need to remember to bring the camera one of these times so I can get some pictures of her! Both kids are just doing awesome as usual! I am one lucky mama! Job and I are great as well. He has been working down in Findlay for the past month so he has been able to come home every night. It's been great!! I wish this could last for the rest of the year at least! Wishful thinking at least!!

Yesterday we made it to the Sylvania arts and craft festival. It was nice. There wasn't as much stuff as I was hoping for but we did leave with a few things! This was the first "fall" festival of the year. and It's starting to feel that way to. Yesterday I was in Jeans and a sweatshirt as well as the kids. Amazing.. We actually went to old navy this weekend and hit the killer sales and got Ayla and Greyson some fall clothes. I was pretty excitied! haha

Today the cable is not working, not sure what the problem is. Job thinks it's the connection, who knows so looks like a day with no tv. So far so good I guess, I am getting laundry done (very much needed) I got the clothes switched around and brought some other toys from the basement to keep the kiddos interested. I hope we get it fixed soon, what am I going to do without my "All my children"!!!! Lol

Fisher Price Party

Today was the Fisher price party and it went great. The kids seemed to have a great time!! The toys were great and a great turnout as well! I served up some yummy food that was luckily ate, because if it would have been left I would have sooo ate it myself! and we don't need that now! but the party was lots of fun. We had kiddos of all ages, from 5 1/2 weeks to 6 years old! Ayla needed to get some energy out at first so Job, being such a good daddy, took her to the playground for the first half of the party. Greyson stayed back with me. He wasn't to sure what to think of all the people around, i don't think I have taken him to a playdate yet since he has been crawling around. He warmed up really quickly though. He such a people person :-) He played along with the rest of them like nothing! Ayla got home and was a little surprised to see everyone at her house as well. She came in and was pretty excited to see all of her little friends there. Seems like everyone had a great time, I didn't plan any activities because of the age range and the kids are still a little young for that kinda stuff..so everyone just really had free play! But all in all it turned out really nice, I got to see my friends that I havn't seen in awhile and the kids got to play with others that they don't usually get to!

Ayla started Soccer today!

Today was Ayla's first soccer class! It was soooooo cute! There are 4 kids in her class and she is the only girl! She showed those boys up today! :-) They started with roll call and she was the only 1 that would tell the teacher thier name, and she even said the full name "Ayla Wise". I couldn't help but laugh since we have been working on that! Then they did some warm up excersises, she wasn't to excited about that but she didn't want me to stand up there with her, she asked me to go sit down and told me she could do it, which worked out since I had Greyson on my hip! but the whole class she didn't want my help, which was great, I love that she is getting so independent! She then got her soccer ball and kicked it everyway they showed her how, as well as getting goals just about everytime! since she is a lefty the coach was saying soccer would be a great game for her since most kids are righties and she could kick the ball the opposite way then they expect! So maybe she found her sport becaue she did sooooo awesome and was laughing and smiling the whole way through, next season she will be old enough to get on an actual team, so if she decided she likes it and wants to keep playing then thats what we will do!

Well it's now officially september. That is just crazy to me! It seems this year is going by so fast! We had a great labor day weekend. We didn't do to much but really enjoyed just hanging out at the house. We got the yard looking nice again, we played with the kids outside and just had a nice weekend. The weather was beautiful. Mid-80's and sunny! Can't ask for any better then that! Ayla starts soccer tomorrow and it's a short week for Job. This weekend coming up is going to be so busy. We have my Fisher Price party, there is an apple festival going on in MI, and then on Sunday is the annual arts and crafts festival in Sylvania, we have gone every year and they have some really cool things, I am so excited! Although 2 yrs. ago it was this same festival that I was at that i got my first bee sting ever! I freaked! What can I say :-) I just hope the weather is nice and warm and sunny! I am not so much looking forward to the gloomy winter days, oh well I am just loving the sunny days now! School is going really good, I am already starting on week 6! and there's only 9 weeks per class so I am almost done with my first set! I am pretty excitied! It's going to be a hard next 3 weeks though, all the big stuff is about to be due! Well this week nothing to exciting is happening, just same ole same ole, probably go to the mall on thurs. and then Fri. is Dr. appts and what not and then the weekend! Yay!

Another day gone

Well it's now the end of thursdays. I am so happy it's thursday because Job will be home through monday because of labor day. But i am also kinda sad it's thursday. Because monday means the start of sept. I can't beleive it's already getting to that time again. It feels like the cool weather just left and now we are counting the days again until it's back. I thought I was looking forward to it but we have had quite a few cool days recently here, and I mean cool like low to mid 70's with very cool breezes, and I have decided i am not ready for summer to be over! I try so hard to keep my mouth shut about it but it stresses me out, not only will we have to pull the jackets out but it means sick season, staying indoors, snow, you can barely breathe in the cold air. I enjoy the nice days with the sun shining, the shorts and the little bit of sweat you get while running around. I now have to wait another long couple seasons to get it again. So now I am trying to suck it up be happy an enjoy what I have while I have it. I know the kids are going to make it fun for me, which it should be the other way around, but I am sure Ayla is going to have a blast running through the leaves and "helping" us rake them up. She is so funny like that, and the way Greyson is going he's gonna be running right along side her! He started walking with his little walking toy today! It was only a few steps but it was more then he has ever taken! I am looking forward to Halloween and the festivles that will be fun. I am also looking forward to a family thanksgiving and christmas but the problem is after all the fun stuff is over with!! Oh well! I guess it's just what life has delt me right now and I am now going to to stop bitching about it since I have it off my chest and get on with life!

Ayla Baked for the first time

Well yesterday afternoon Ayla and I decided to make daddy some brownies while Greyson took his afternoon nap. She wanted to put her apron on, we pushed the chair up to the counter and she was soooo excited! I gave her the bowl the spoon and we got started. She helped spray the brownie pan, let me tell you there was nothing going to stick to that thing! and she got to pour all the ingredients together. She then took the spoon and started mixing. The whole time she mixed she kept saying "whoa" when the brownie batter started getting gooey. It was so cute! and of course mommy let her lick the bowl and spoon, I used applesauce instead of raw eggs since I knew she was going to want to lick it! She had a blast! It was so much fun. I am getting so excited for Holiday time when I really bake, now I have my little helper by my side. It was so much fun cooking with her! and the brownies turned out very yummy! The begining

Well I have decided to start a blog to keep you all informed on whats going on in our lives. Ayla is 2 1/2 years old and into everything! She is a crazy little girl. She loved being outside and running around. Her favorite sport at the moment is soccer. She will be starting this next week with YMCA. I know she is going to love it! The 2's have started with a vengence, she loves to tell you "no" and ask you "why" but she always will tell you "I love you" followed with hugs and kisses to it makes up for the other words :-) She is speaking a lot now, you can understand about half of it but what you do hear is very clear. It's crazy how big she is getting, I can't even really remeber her as a baby anymore!! Time really flies but I am enjoying her as much as I can good and bad!! She is such an awesome little girl and I am one lucky mama!!

Greyson is a very laid back little boy, He takes a lot from his sister but still keeps a smile on his face. He is a very happy baby, all you have to do is look at him and he will give you this big beautiful smile. It's so sweet. He's my little cuddler. He loves his mommy and always wants hugs and kisses. He will give you big sloppy kisses back if you let him! He loved his toys, he is into anything and everything you give him, he is a very curious boy and will check things out of interested. He's still learning what "no" means, but if he wants something he won't forget and will keep going back for it hours later. He has been crawling for awhile now and pulls up on everything. He just recently started trying to stand by himself! He is an amazing little man and getting so big, I can't beleive he will be a year soon! Time flies!!

Job and I are doing great! We have had some rough patches in the past but we are really doing awesome now. I don't know what I would do without him! He's a great husband! He is still working in the telecommunications. He has had to travel a lot unfortunetly but thats what his job calls for at the moment. I hope in the future we are able to be together every week rather then every weekend. I have started school at univeristy of phoenix. I am going for Elementary school teaching. I am only 4 weeks into it but I am really really enjoying it. I don't miss the school part but it's what I need to do to be able to work after the kids go off to school. this way we can all have the same schedule to. I love staying at home with the kids and wouldn't have it any other way. We are getting ready for fall to start, This summer has been amazing! Great weather and lots of sunshine but we are looking forawrd to fall now with pumpkin picking, apple festivles and halloween. THe cooler weather will be nice for a change, I think :-) Thats what I keep telling myself at least! haha. But we are all just loving life and trying to enjoy everything we have while we can. Like I said time flies and we are making the best of every moment! I hope to get on here often and update whats going on in our lives. I will post pictures and try to keep it updated!
